This widespread event seems to be pretty spread out. Maybe once it reaches into 610/Houston and down to the coast itll build a solid line but it looks like a lot of the northwest viewing area will get nothing more than a passing few drops of rain.
Oh, yeah - it's 10°F cooler than yesterday, NW wind. DP dropped from 77°F to 69°F. The low DP air is NW of Abilene for now. The advection may catch up tonight or more likely tomorrow.

0.00" of rain here as well.

We went from a 90% chance with areas of 3-5 in expected. However, the Mesos were never on board with the NWS or phone or TWC forecasts of a potential deluge or even measurable rain...the premonition of complete BUST was strong.

TBF - the HGX discussion began to panic this morning...because they saw what I saw: Preparing to outflow.

LOL

Who scared off the heavy rain yesterday and today? Not a drop.

Yeah, it's looking way too much like last year's Fall drought.

As Green Day sang once upon a time…

Wake me up when September ends. The fun weather and cool air starts next month. The end of Hell season approaches!

Other than for football season starting, I generally wish September was never born.

I’ve picked up 1.20” altogether this week. No complaints here. Heard the coastal counties got hammered this morning though.

Only managed a quarter inch up in Georgetown yesterday. Most of the area didnt see anything. I've only gotten about an inch or so of rain since the July flood ended. Dry fall incoming I guess.

It’s beautiful up there, but boy is the weather boring. Sucks to be a weather enthusiast and live up there.

It gets pretty sporty in the spring. We had a ton of hailstorms this year. Last fall didn't do much and this one looks similar.

Some northerly advection is taking the DP down to 59°F.

If it's not going to rain then it might as well be almost pleasant.

Feels nice outside but we really missed out on the rain.
The vegetation in the woods and greenbelts is as crispy as a cork flake.
