Euro lost the late month FROPA and GFS gained it. I assume that is not good news.

Soaking the lawn this morning. Probably a September with <1” of rain. Yuck.

High and dry for the next 2 weeks. This is looking too much like last "Fall," which was disastrous for our plants.

That's a reminder - I have to start watering during daylight now. Brown patch season is less than a month away.

Sorry for griping but this 90°F by noon with no rain in sight in mid-September and extending toward October is getting old. The big climate change from 1990 - today are Falls that are warmer, more humid, and with less rain. Occasional polar vortex hound release in winter is probably the other noticeable long-term trend. Summers are always drought stricken up in the Brazos Valley.

Losing daylight and retaining heat is not a good combination.

That models all look bleak except for a random tropical wave sliding into SETX late in the month on the extended GFS.

That GT - Clemson game is why college football is great. The cujones to run that sequence for a 55 yard FG with active time running out. It would have been good from 60.

I’m checking all long-range models and, unfortunately, there is no snow in the forecast for SE Texas for the next 14 days.

Hey Gang. Andrew has informed me that we are in serious financial trouble with no donations coming in monthly to support our server fee. We will have no choice to continue the operation of our Weather Community if something does not change quickly. Please see the Donations Topic above if you can help!

I don't have PayPal. Is there a way we can use a credit card to donate?
