Well I'm heading to work. Yall stay safe
Nearing 2.5”-3” so far in Beaumont. Heaviest should start between now and 10am which we could pick up another 2”-3” on top of whatever has already fallen. Currently in a “Blizzard Warning” for Jefferson county eastward. Not sure how many times that has ever happened if any at all. Blowing snow obstructing view has really picked up over the last hour and overpasses/bridges have been shutdown. This will continue strong till around noon before conditions begin improving.

***WINTER STORM UPDATE***
-Bands of wintry precipitation will continue to impact the southeast Texas through Tuesday morning.
-As of 200 AM CST, precip has been mostly light snow north of I-10, while areas farther south have seen an light icy mix.
-Heavier bands of precip will develop around dawn, with precip likely changing to snow for areas south of I-10 later in the morning.
-Locations that experience heavy snow bands could receive 3-5 inches of snow, potentially locally higher. Totals will be
lower elsewhere.
-The system moves out this afternoon, with some melting likely.
..see.. everything is on track, the heavy snow bands are 6 to 11 am.. like it said in the forecast yesterday
