Aye! Pretty decent sleet coming down here! Cooling down the atmosphere to start the transition. This is looking like it can be an epic event.
January 2025
Humidity levels here are over 50% now. Came home to around 40%. This is awesome

That puts me in the 5-7+ range.. COME ON!!MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 8:14 pm https://x.com/pcavlin/status/1881521236 ... 20916%2F25

Interesting. I see nothing on radar over Pecan Grove. We aren’t getting anything here yet.

34 degrees here and light rain, transition line is getting very close
As with most rain events, the Golden Triangle and into LA has more moisture to work with. It’s not surprising that your area and into LA will probably be the big winners.snowman65 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 8:22 pmThat puts me in the 5-7+ range.. We’re back in the 3-5” again I think. Whoo hoo! Hoping It’ll be like 2021 snow and this time I can get out in it.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 8:14 pm https://x.com/pcavlin/status/1881521236 ... 20916%2F25
That band along the coastline is getting ready to really pop
You are going to see more of that. We're a little light up here, but the wintry stuff/snow is far more widespread than expected, all the way to Dallas...so we may get a sandwich set of big bands.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 8:14 pm https://x.com/pcavlin/status/1881521236 ... 20916%2F25
Props to RGEM. Behold!
Coming through again, just like 2021. They sniffed the widespread nature, too.

Down to 32 with a DP of 24 as of about 10 minutes ago. It's starting to accumulate.
Mission Control reports initial launch sequence successful. Boosters on standby.
There are definitely returns on radar. Whether you’re using the MyRadar app or RadarScope it’s all over. Nothing accumulating yet but the temp has dropped almost 2 degrees to 35. It’s a steady, yet light, sleet and melting on the concrete.
