Is the weather.com phone app accurate? If so, it just updated to less than an inch for Magnolia. :cry:

They are computer generated with no human Input. Usually based off raw data from the gfs..so technically no they are not that accurate

Yay! Thank you! I have the grands this weekend, maybe longer, and have been telling them we are going to have snow!

Weather.gov is your best bet for the latest..this is what it's saying for you're area

My weather app is whack. Everything is trending more west as we go, and the snow chances and accumulation are dropping on there.

Interesting that the full transition to snow (for Harris Co) doesn't happen until around 8-9am and that the higher accumulation amounts are at the southern extent of that transition. Might be a true nowcasting event in terms of when the column can cool enough for the full switch over occurs. Keeps the higher precip rates closer to the low offshore so if it can trend even a few degrees colder earlier, watch out.. could have some really impressive numbers all the way down to the coast.

I'm giddy over the fact that they(NWS) finally gave me some snow accumulations lol 2 to 4 inches in Angleton ain't bad! I'll gladly take that
