She is making landfall now in Palacios. Thank GOD she didn’t have more time over water. She was a good trial run for the remainder of the season.

Congratulations to the ICON and JMA. They nailed Beryl’s final solution for about a week.

Lost a tree, lost power (Clear Lake), and my 12-hour emergency shift starts today. Sigh.

Can't confirm but wouldn't be shocked with what is ongoing. Supposedly one of the dow plants recorded a 100 mph gust.

Was seeing the familiar greenish-blue flashes in the distance that indicate a breaker tripping, or transformer blowing. It finally caught up to us. Generator started about 15 minutes ago.

Where in Clear Lake are you? My sons off Nasa and lost power a few hours ago. I'm off CLC Blvd and El Dorado we still have power.

Up here in Humble our power has flickered off and back on 3 times now.

I imagine it will be out for good soon.

EDIT: It’s out. Hopefully it won’t be out for weeks like after Ike.

Well this was extremely lame for western CoCo.

I might get an inch of rain.

Y’all stay safe. I’m counting down the days to our first cold front in the Fall.

Don't care what recorded landfall intensity was. I've got cat 2 damage no question.

The damage across the southern part of Brazoria county is going to be extensive.
