Hi, how far inland will Beryl go before she starts tracking to the north east?

Thank you.

Oh thanks Beryl. I dont need 12” of rain in Beaumont. (Per KPRC latest rainfall map).
Looks about right. Nearly a coin flip on CLL getting significant rainfall. It depends on how far east the CoC tracks, energy, bands, dry air, wrap around...

If I had to guess: Follow Hwy 60 north through Bay City. Then jump to just east of Hempstead to Navasota on Hwy 6, crossing Hwy 1*5, and then NNE on Hwy 90 to just east of Madisonville and NE from there.

Most of the heavier impacts will be east of that track, but there is always wrap around.

FWIW, last I saw Reed Timmer was heading to Surfside to be on the dirty side, but called Sargent 'Ground Zero'. 'Hurricane Josh' Morgerman driving into Matagorda an hour ago.

Magnolia' pinpoint forecast is currently showing winds only maxing at 26 mph sustained and gusts to 46.

The town is 100 miles inland from Sargent.

The track takes it just west of you. Guarantee you’ll see winds much higher than that.

Still far enough out from landfall for a few more model runs to zero in final landfall.

18z HAFS-B shifted up the coast to Sargent, and up through Brazoria and Fort Bend county.
