It's not a huge move east angle-wise. I'm going with a Lake Jackson, if you're nasty... landfall. This places Houston unfortunately on the dirty side with more rain, severe weather, spinup tornadoes.

We deliver Nitrogen to A&M and I haven't heard anything yet about closures.
A&M continues to be the proverbial sleeping giant.

Total qpf = total amount of rain for the period.

Having said that, there may be isolated areas in SETX that receive 2-4 inch/hour rain causing localized flash flooding.

Beryl will be snatched by the upper level trough and will move quickly enough so that we're not left with a Harvey situation where buffers and drainage are rendered useless.

Per Jeff Lindner

#beryl starting to strengthen per aircraft this morning…will continue until landfall. Increasing forward motion will bring strong winds inland over much of SE TX including Houston metro. Widespread power outages will be possible…complete all preparations this evening #houwx

You're probably gonna be in the eyewall. Looks like Beryl may have a decent size eye.
It’s looking like a decent bet right now, but it could still go just east of me. Man, the western suburbs are gonna get clobbered. Being in the eye of a hurricane is on my bucket list so I might get to scratch it off.

Welcome ClearLake77. Glad you found us! Gusty squalls with sustained Tropical Storm force winds beginning very late tonight with occasional wind gusts to Hurricane force. Heavy squalls with the feeder bands continues into tomorrow evening.

The 6z NAM can f right off with its rainfall totals. If we get a .5 inch from this in Western CoCo, I’m going to sacrifice something to make sure we have a Winter that makes all of you miserable. Like 26 inches of snow or something.

Summer sucks y’all!
