Don’t be surprised if we get rain after all! Tropical downpours are insane.

Glad to see everyone got rain in se texas! Or at least most folks did! Looking ahead the 2nd system behind this one, i dont see it doing a whole lot, maybe weak low pressure, but it should move into mexico, no problem for texas

Have fun in your feeder band! We only got 0.05” all day in the Triangle. I was expecting closer to an 1” at minimum. Oh well, enjoy!

South of I10 just as originally suggested. North of there has been less than exciting.

An inch and a half IMBY so far today. May end up with closer the 3” when all said and done if this band continues. Far from what was expected obviously, but I will take what I can get before the next hell dome settles in for who knows how long!

Its almost shaping up like a few rainfall models were showing. At work here in katy we are up to 1.6" of rain with a current pretty heavy rain. My house in Fairfield just north of 290 has been right on the edge and only gotten .27" so far today. The gradient along the 290 line is pretty strong for Harris county.

Looks like this latest band pushed most over the 1 inch mark. Might be good that the band isn't stationary since it has high rain rates!

0.2 inches here. However, that band north of Houston could get us to the NWS predicted 1 inch. I got in a front lawn mow between the bands.

Aransas Co. (Rockport) is reporting 8 inches of rain. The Valley and Hill Country are going to get their share.

Would be something if this next one ends up impacting us more than the current one given the model runs. Flip flop in reality lol

There has been some talk about the ridge backing off and allowing this one to move more northerly than Alberto.
