Thunderstorms form in the afternoon from September to December at around 3:00 PM everyday. Think of summer thunderstorms happening everyday in the same area. It forms over Tiwi Islands of Northern Territory of Australia. The islands are mountainous and pyramid shapes. The ocean breeze collide with mountains, causing them to go up and form thunderstorms. During World War II, military pilots used Hector as a navigation mark. The thunderstorms can be seen from Darwin as they are large thunderstorm clouds.
