It’s not going to be that cold in your location. Still be a decent change for you but will be much colder 100 miles to your west.

This is basically a mediocre cool front for October..I'll take it but this isn't a cold front ..highs in the 50s and 60s isn't cold

Average high for December/January in Houston is 62. High of 50 in late October is a real cold front.

brazoriatx lol what? Youre going to be lucky to even hit 50 tommorow, given the average high this time of year in se texas in late october is around 80 -81 degrees ish, this front is going to drop tempo by a good 30-35 degrees, thats a legit fall front

It is a very shallow front with the low cloud deck moving in slowly. It is cooling off noticeably though.

I’m just one hour west of you and the temp has already dropped off 33° in 4 hours since it came in. Pretty noticeable change over here. And the wind is blowing nearly 20mph here with gusts to 25-30.
