I’m interested in what’s building out towards Giddings.
June 2023
Wow! Back in town for a couple of days to get our boys and we were greeted with this!! We had 75mph gusts, they were worse to the west. Power is out. The top half of the neighbor’s sweet gum is now draped over the spa. And on top of that the heat today was insane. My god nothing like it was in Florida. 1 day back home and we hit the highway to escape this heat.
Damage assessment soon…

Jeez! It’s practically like a mini cat 1 hurricane was sitting on them! Thats nuts, ive never heard of a wind gust that high in a thunderstorm ever
Got just a tiny bit of rain. It fell apart as soon as it crossed highway 6
Love what I’m seeing out near Fayetteville! Build a tad bit further east and hold together please!
Y’all this was insane. Every neighborhood in the area is without power. Numerous reports of downed trees, etc. That wind was scary intense.
High wind reports have been very common with the storms over the past couple weeks. Oklahoma and east TX had them last week.
Columbus is getting clobbered right now. Going to be a close call for me.

Good thing these storms were earlier in the night. Better chances for recharge, creating more oppurtunities for tomorrow...

I’m in Weimar but our neighbors in Magnolia say there’s heavy damage. Mainly trees and fences but some structures.

Weather in League City was like I hadn’t seen in a long, long time. No damage at my house or immediate neighborhood, but I would
Not be shocked to learn of some tomorrow. Thankful for the rain, but that was some kind of nasty

I can report, it’s pouring here!! And no severe weather either. Just a lot of lightning, thunder, and rain. Perfect!
The Matador tornado looks like EF4. Damage looks worse than Perryton.
Yeah, it was intense up here. Unfortunately no rain - but 50 mph gusts at least.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 9:34 pm Worst windstorm I have seen since hurricane Ike for sure. No power 1960 45 area
