Looks like the coast is receiving some showers today from a gravity wave passage. Nothing up north yet

Nice cell near Hutto (that we just drove around on our way home), but I don't see much happening to the south.

I’m getting teased by steady rumbles of thunder to the west and northwest.

I'm right on the southern edge of this storm. Lots of lightning and thunder to the north. I get a few sprinkles here and there but not much so far. It seems to be back-building some so I keep watching it.

Got a major tease with .02” last night with quite the lightning show. NWS has inserted 40% for this afternoon so maybe there will be another round for us….with actual rain here.

A 20% chance of showers down here in NW Galveston County. Radar current shows some showers in Brazoria and Galveston Counties currently. Fingers crossed.

Well I can tell you one thing, there’s plenty of heat and humidity out there for storms to work with.

Really needed to mow today and although I can't complain about rain, it's not happening.
