There's a chance of storms tomorrow also but just like today was, its conditional on the cap breaking.I wouldn't get my hopes up on that happening but its possible.

Wouldn’t surprise me if some areas around Temple picked up 3 or 4” of rain or more. That was quite a cell that just parked over them for a good while.

It’s an ensemble. That’s what you look at when you’re talking long range. It’s a good sign.

Not much rain in the forecast over the next week. 90° days in April are happening each week, which is early. Lots of trepidation about late Spring and Summer re: drought, heat.

When I woke-up, NWS had raised my chances to 50% for today and the weather app showed 80%.
NWS midday update lowered them to 30%. Just refreshed my phone app and just like that - zap - shows no rain today. In fact, no rain for the next 10 days.

It's always miserable in the summer. Haha! As far as the rain pattern, it's still too early. Remember, last spring was dry like this until about late-April to early May.

12z EURO is showing another system in about a week for us. It looks more promising because this time, the heavier action is more SW in the state.
