I noticed that. I thought that was really strange..
April 2022
My weather app has much higher rain chances than the NWS. One will be right and one will be wrong…

The CAP should be weak enough to allow some thunderstorms to get going, the NWS has increased rain chances to 50% here in CS later tonight
Feels like classic tornado alley outbreak day.

The CINH (Cap) is weakening rather rapidly over Oklahoma, fell from -200 to -75 (Generally) in the past 2 hours in some spots.

The CAP is beginning to break across SE texas as seen on radar to our SE, I expect some noisy thunderstorms later tonight
Those storms out near Brownwood look dangerous!
The second half of April is looking wet on both the GFS and Euro. Hopefully it doesn’t go away as we get closer.

CPV17 I know, especially the GFS at hours 300+, hope it holds, that would be a welcome sight for the whole state, probably just a teaser run though
I’ve noticed that the higher totals have started to slightly shift a bit more west on the GEFS over the past few runs so that gives me a bit more confidence about what the GFS is showing.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 4:08 pm CPV17 I know, especially the GFS at hours 300+, hope it holds, that would be a welcome sight for the whole state, probably just a teaser run though

The other storms are disrupting it, the Supercell looks Muddy now.
Sooooooo are we done with the storms for SETX for today/tonight? I was expecting a little more action? Or is something supposed to transpire overnight?

It appears the CAP held over SE Texas today, I dont see much in the way of any storms making it here, maybe tommorow as the cold fronts swings through
