Finally suppose to bottom out at 31 here on Saturday, long after the moisture is gone. Next.

Monday is looking like a really wet day all across southeast TX. Jason, maybe you’ll get something then.

I had no idea. Seriously. I just checked - and noticed that. I have been so focused on yesterday's severe weather, this event, and the low temps for tomorrow night I have not even looked at next week. Thanks for letting me know. Yes, I could use a little more rain than the .35" I got yesterday.

It's down to 38 here. I'm in-between patches of precip - I'll step outside again and see if I hear any pings yet. Eventually we're gonna see something here - hopefully. A little novelty would be cool - doesn't sleet or snow that much down here.

What's interesting is that since we moved here in 2005, we have seen several winter events down here. When I went to Tech in the mid 1990's - the students from Houston & Lake Jackson said they had never seen snow before until they moved to Lubbock. My kids have seen snow, what 5 or 6 times now? Plus a few sleet and ice events mixed-in...? Kinda interesting considering the overall warming trend.

Just watched a live update from David Paul on Youtube, he says looking at long range models, we could stay cold through the first few days of february while the subtropical jet stays active!😄

The 12z Euro had a massive system on it at day 10. It gave me about 7” of rain in one day lol

So on the radar loop, the bands to the west along I-10 are increasing in intensity.
