January 2022
I’m getting the things ready to cover the garden. Don’t want to lose the tomatoes!
Kim Castro mentioned it on the noon KHOU broadcast.
Been here for years since Katrina.

18z NAM, coming in a bit more aggressive with wintry precip

Yep 18Z NAM has heavier precip in this run with temps for most of the area in the mid to low 30s.Looking at the soundings it has a small pocket of subfreezing air just above the surface (which is a sleet profile) Its close to showing an all sleet storm.

Is that sleet all the way to the coast as well?
Yes it eventually brings some sleet to the coast, but in this range i wouldn't pay too much attention to precip type and placement until atleast within 48 hours.Just the fact that it shows this setup is more important in this range.
