Yep, the GFS has been showing a cold front around Thanksgiving give or take for days now. Will it be as extreme as the latest run? Who knows but confidence is growing that we won't be blow torched this Thanksgiving.

Yep, the GFS has been showing a cold front around Thanksgiving give or take for days now. Will it be as extreme as the latest run? Who knows but confidence is growing that we won't be blow torched this Thanksgiving.

The 18z GFS has backed off slightly to Oklahoma, but it's colder further north as well.

I feel like that the GFS always has a warm biacy, even during the fall/ winter months, I could be wrong, but thats just how I see it

Somewhat. The high up north is still not as strong as I’d like for it to be and there appears to be too much of a positive PNA which would slide the core of the cold well east of us but that’s way far out so take it with a grain of salt of course.

Somewhat. The high up north is still not as strong as I’d like for it to be and there appears to be too much of a positive PNA which would slide the core of the cold well east of us but that’s way far out so take it with a grain of salt of course.
