September 2021: Hurricane Nicholas
I fully agree.
Is this winter supposed to be cold or colder than normal? I hope so.

A gas fireplace (no electricity needed!) was a life and pipe saver through rolling blackouts.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 1:51 pmI hope so to! I'd rather it be cold and be without power then be hotter than hell and without power..last years freeze wasn't that bad..just a bunch of spoiled texans lol jk
I agree! I hope we have a really cold winter.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 1:51 pmI hope so to! I'd rather it be cold and be without power then be hotter than hell and without power..last years freeze wasn't that bad..just a bunch of spoiled texans lol jk

12z Euro is concerning, granted it keeps the “worst of the accumulations” well to the west of us, but showing the potential for some nasty accumulation totals

StormLover2020 this is a rainfall projection map, the Euro is only bad with tropical cyclogensis ...... Considering the GFS also has some excessive amounts of rain next week, with a bullsye of 12 inches, the Euro absolutely cannot be discredited here

StormLover2020 we will see, both the Euro and GFS are in agreement that someone could see excessive rainfall next week , it just happens that one model shows a higher and uglier rainfall amount , at least we have that, but amounts obviously will continue to change by both models

CPV17 thats exactly what I was saying lol, but the fact that the euro and GFS both show the potential for excessive rain totals somewhere in Texas is concerning

The first couple I've seen has us at normal precip and colder than normal. I'm leaving this heat hell hole tomorrow morning and headed to the mountains. Lows around 50 and highs around 70.

Another cold front just passed my back yard. Lows in the upper 40’s to the low 50’s the next several nights and highs in the low to mid 70's. Enjoy!MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 5:58 pmThe first couple I've seen has us at normal precip and colder than normal. You live in such a beautiful area. My parents lived there for 10 years in the Tri-Cities area.srainhoutx wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 6:04 pmAnother cold front just passed my back yard.
