Grand Isle webcam. Not sure how long it will last as they should take a nasty hit.

My neighbors are from the Houma area. They had some family at the house yesterday and I came over to fry some cajun fried ribs. As typical with South Louisiana folk, we had a great time and a lot of laughs shared. Not this morning....
3/4 of their family stayed. The matriarch neighbor of mine is a ball of emotion this morning and won't watch the TV.

Josh was in Houma but was may relocate because for some god forsaken reason they blocked off access to the parking garages there.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 10:06 am My neighbors are from the Houma area. New hot towers still popping off in the eye wall. This is going to be strengthening all the way in.

It’s depressing to see that. It’s also depressing that they stayed.Texaspirate11 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 10:14 am People on Grand Isle now are asking for rescue.. .i cant even......

Why would people try to ride out this hurricane? Especially if the eye wall goes right over them, I feel bad for them, but at the same time they are making a really beyond stupid decision
TWC wants this to be a Cat 5 so badly. "Its a cat 4.75". Goodloe is pretty insufferable at times.
Most recent loop of Hurricane Ida.
