Tornado watch has just been issued till 10pm for all of the viewing area except for Jackson and Matagorda counties.

The latest HRRR has some isolated 6”+ spots in Harris County.

The conservative Matt Lanza isn’t very concerned about it and doesn’t seem to think it’s gonna rain all that much either.

Interesting that the HRRR actually has some rain now south of I-10 later this evening.

All I can tell you guys is watch the Caribbean Sea. Usually it’s a graveyard, but if it’s favorable this year, good chance we’re in big trouble.

Yikes, the 0z HRRR looks awful for areas up north again for Thursday.

It will be interesting to see how wet June ends up this year. As June is Houstons wettest month on average. Last year the faucet turned off the last week of May. Not here in Houston, we had several significant severe weather events last June.To be fair though rainfall was still below normal in June...

There’s already a day 3 moderate risk for excessive rainfall in the same areas that have already been inundated with rain over the past couple weeks.. sheesh.

It doesn’t look as bad as I expected. Mainly just some heavy rains.
