I took a look at the NAM this morning did anyone else look at what it does to Lee???

Edit to add I know the NAM isn't very reliable but the scenario it painted was interesting to say the least.

It would be nice. I just can't help looking at the radar and seeing those small slivers of the outer rain bands disappear as they graze Harris County's eastern boundary. Hoping for the best but continuing to assume the worst.

By the way, I will be none too upset if we don't hear back from our friend in Monterrey about prospects for a La Nina return.

Lake Charles radar suggests the board center is making some progress WNW skirting slowly along Coastal Vermillion/Cameron Parishes...

I can only hope that you folks in Houston get in on some of this rain. Here in the Golden Triangle it has been nice with rain today, windy, and temps in the low 70's. Fingers and prayers for you folks west!!!

Nice and breezy today at least, temp in kingwood where I'm at right now is 76, my backyard looks like fall though, can hardly see the grass from all the leaves. They sure could have used a little of the wet stuff. Driving around today, I'd say 1 out of 5 trees are either dead or knocking on deaths door...sad state of affairs

That blob underneath miss and al looks CRAZY huge. Scary. Looks almost as big as the states in my opinion. But, what do i know.

What I do know is that I would give ANYTHING for any part of Lee to be over here right now.

Still raining here in the Beaumont area with gusts to 30-35! Nice all day soaking rain for the yards and trees! I honestly wasn't expecting this much wind and rain being Lee was so far to the east! Nice! Been having power outages all over the Golden Triangle because the winds are knocking dead limbs down! Heard three transformers blow from my backyard so far...im sure more to come! Yup, reminds me alot of Ike 24h before landfall! Glad it's not him though! I can handle this! I think my grass is having a PARTY!

Your lucky ..... clouds are increasing here in Sugarland ..... we have small tree limbs falling because they are dead and the wind is averaging 20 - 25 MPH with occasional gusts to 35. Hoping that Lee doesn't stop nudging this way .... we need some water.

Wow...heavy band coming through now in Beaumont! That had a gust atleast close to 35-40! I know it's not, BUT it sure seems Lee is moving more west than N/NE! Houston...Im trying to send some your way! You'd sure would enjoy this! Really does look like a TS "beginning" here in SETX!
