HERE IS THE COLDEST DEC/JAN COMBINATION FOR HOUSTON:
HOUSTON
45.9 1976-77
46.3 1983-84
47.2 1977-78
48.4 2000-01
48.5 1978-79
49.3 1891-92
49.6 2009-10
49.6 1917-18
49.6 1898-99
With February 2010 looking like it will end up below average as well, it will be interesting to see where will stand in the top 10 coldest winters on record.
It sure has been a fun winter to live through so far, considering the mild atrocities we've seen the past decade. It definitely feels old school
