It will continue to vary as we continue to cool due to slight warming by the sun on and off(did that make sense?). I am seeing the same thing here at my house. I don't think it is a glitch.

I pulled this off of a post on S2K. :o :o if it is correct!!(I think I am reading it correctly)
It is the HPC's experimental snowfall and freezing rain forecast for up to 72 hours. You can click on amounts or timeframes on the right side of page. Anyway check out what it show for friday....

Not so freaked out now that I have looked at it closer.

I beleive the HPC is taken that using the GFS as its basis? I seem to recall that...probably a blend of recent data and obvously not having the recent CMC run in it...

Yep. Euro and UKMET both suggest snow for most, if not all of SE TX if they are correct.

Euro showing temps a tad above freezing but specifics can't really be trusted at this time especially temp wise

Before I started my p90x workout (pure torture) the mood on the board was getting a bit sour and a little over an hour later after workout, everyone is happy again!! :D Gotta love the tides this board takes sometimes.

Meh. It's a step in the right direction. But take that qpf with a grain of salt. ;)

2.5 qpf would make me go six to midnight!!! :o

I went to grad school at Ohio State and saw some doozies when it came to Winter Storms, so I'm accustomed, but I just get really excited when I see snow in the Houston area. It's just a rare event.

Folks, that’s inches of snow. Not qpf. As I stated, take any qpf totals with a grain of salt. That said, the 700mb RH's are most impressive. The column is well saturated in model world across the board.

People like to freak out about things they have no control over for some reason

The last thing I saw from him was this on FB about 5 hours ago:

Greg Bostwick
Could see some snow and sleet in our area Thursday night into Friday. Too early to tell yet if we will see any accumulations. Watch tonight at 5 and 6 and I'll have the latest.

James Brown was on News at Noon. I saw some of it. Looks like they have 40% snow? for Thursday and 70% snow/sleet and possibly freezing rain for Friday. It was a new graphic spitting out lots of frozen precip. :)
