Time to throw in the towel boys and girls....thankfully! We made it through a pretty active season with no threats at all. IMO, I am very confident that the Texas coastline will not see a landfalling hurricane the rest of the season. It's time put our attention on things related to squall lines and cold weather! :)

Yes I agree with this too. I'm very confident in no more threats too this season with westerlies and cool airmasses kicking in more frequently.

Generally yes. However, there have been records of tropical cyclones hitting Texas in October and even November.

Ok, the last storm to hit the Texas coastline in October was Jerry in '89. Before that it was a heck of a long time ago. Also on the list are 2 October storms WAY BACK IN THE 1800's!! LOL!! Yea, I think we are safe this year.
