I honestly did not mean any insult to you, srainhoutx, or the KHOU staff. I am truly thankful that we have a new forum to enjoy just like everyone else on this forum is.wxdata wrote:Why is that even important? Just select the color you want, and be done with it..sleetstorm wrote:One thing that I do not like about this new weather forum, and I just now found this out, is that Font Color selection bar is only coded with letters and numbers and it is not shown even when you press the Font Hue button. Someone very seriously needs to work on that knowing that it is needless to say a downside to this forum.

LOL, you didn't. I was just curious about the concerns with the colors that's all....

Honestly, I would just like to know what hue that I select, like I was able to in the old forum, rather than have to guess which hue that I it is & I am sure that other people would too.wxdata wrote:I honestly did not mean any insult to you, srainhoutx, or the KHOU staff. I'll do some homework and see if there is another option for the color picker utility....
Nice weak bow echo just northwest of Bryan,
It appears that metro Houston will stay on the extreme southern fringe of the line of storms,,
is this line going to miss the downtown area?
i actually cant get my computer to loop any radar right now, so i am just going off of the still images from radars...
edit: sorry dan...guess i was posting at the same time that you posted about the houston area

I do not know about the rest of you but it seems as though that line of severe thunderstorms is moving more to the east than e-SE or even SE.
Have you tried to clear the cache and/or do a reboot?i actually cant get my computer to loop any radar right now, so i am just going off of the still images from radars...

I am also thinking that too, wxdata. But, then again, we were never gauranteed any severe weather, to begin with. The forecast today was for some rain which some of us did get. But, as far as severe thunderstorms, we really needed much in the way of partly cloudy to clear skies to be able to get the amount of instability that is required for severe thunderstorms to form and burgeoun off of. Clear skies today would have been terrific of the two. But, hey, there is always next time, right? I pray that April is much better with severe thunderstorms.wxdata wrote:It appears that metro Houston will stay on the extreme southern fringe of the line of storms,,
that line spit out an outflow moving more south than east....probably wont hold together though....we are capped.
Looking at the radar from San Antonio, maybe one more chance of showers when the actual front moves through early morning.
