Let me make an edit to that. Apparently we must have gotten some good rain here overnight. I wasn’t even aware it rained here like that cuz there’s no standing water anywhere but I just checked the rain gauge and it had 1.65” in it so I’m definitely not complaining.

It’s disgusting outside. It’s crazy how we can go from 40’s yesterday for the highs in the afternoon to the 70’s today. Pretty drastic change. All the concrete outside is sweating. Pea soup for sure.

Nothing much happened down here. Maybe a quarter inch, if we were lucky enough to even get that much.

Major mist up in CLL. But that's about it. Maybe a tenth or rain. Maybe. We drove to the Austin airport and back. It was about 10°F cooler there!

Areas affected...Southeast Texas

Concerning...Tornado Watch 13...

Valid 090053Z - 090230Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 13 continues.

SUMMARY...Tornado threat continues with sustained supercells this
evening.

DISCUSSION...Weak surface boundary remains draped
northwest-southeast across the southern portions of ww013 from just
south of Conroe to east of the HOU metro. This boundary continues to
be reinforced by extensive warm-advection convection atop the cooler
air mass just downstream. At various times this evening, a few
supercells have intensified as they encountered this boundary, a
couple produced tornadoes. Scattered convection continues to develop
within stronger instability corridor from just west of the watch
into the upper TX Coast. This activity will continue to
spread/develop northeast, possibly strengthening near the wind shift
where low-level shear is maximized in proximity to 70F surface dew
points. At this time it appears the weak boundary will remain the
primary focus for potential tornado development.

And it may not be done yet. It’s a somewhat interesting set up going on for the time of year, but you can’t rule anything out nowadays. As Cpv17 said, cold yesterday, hot today. A front comes down and reverses. It’s more like March out there

Theirs some significant wind damage in the humble area from another tornado last night. And over 6 inches of rain fell in the spring branch area causing many high water rescues late last night.Looks like at least 3 tornadoes touched down yesterday in Harris county alone. The system definitely over performed.

I know right? I’m not sure what Doctormu was talking about earlier. I guess the front has already made it through his area.

I live in Humble. Well, rather Atascocita. I am about 3 to 4 miles from the center of Humble. It was quite interesting last night into the early morning hours. Vivid lightning. So wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph, my estimate. Some branches (small) down here, but no damage as it were.
