Just had 2 gusts to 77 mph. powerlines down in yard. This is crazy here.

I had to re-stake one of my Live Oak plantings. The wind blew it sideways. I thought it had snapped at first but it's OK.

I’m in Tarkington Prairie (northern liberty county) and I’m surprised at how gusty it’s been the last couple hours.

well we just lost power. tree on our street fell on powerlines. Crazy how the back end of the storm was the worst part.

That was crazy! 80 mph winds Greg just said. Was NOT expecting that. Will be without power for a while now. Ive gotta get out and cut some of these trees over the road or someone is gonna drive into them. Stay safe my friend. That was WILD!!!

I hope the end is near because it hasn't stopped yet. Maybe even getting stronger

Final. 50-70mph for 7 hrs. 80mph sustained for 32 min. Highest gust I got was 84 mph. Final rain 6.52” from Delta. Im done. Im exhausted. Generators giving me a headache but so blessed. Thank you everyone here for what you do and checking in on your neighbors here in Beaumont. Cleanup starts tomorrow. Im out. Gooooood night!

Yeah, it was a bad angle with a much wider eye. That eyewall was right on top of the Texas Coast angling in.

Just watch, the tropical takeover is happening. Very soon, Houston will regularly see those hot 90F winter days just like the Rio Grande Valley & tropical Mexico.
