Seems to me the center is NE of where the WPC had placed it on its maps; it's very close to Diboll, Lufkin, just a tick west or SW of there. I think that will make a big difference as to where the heaviest rains fall. It's gonna have to make a big jog west to end-up where the WPC forecast points were.

Both HRRR & NAM seem to have a good grip on things currently, and both set up a nasty band tomorrow morning sweeping in from the NE across most of the Houston Metro, and into Fort Bend County. Something to keep an eye on for sure.

Many roads feeders and underpasses have now been closed. So far, 3 high water rescues in Beaumont 1 in Nome. This band is no joke! Water is up to the garage. PTSD had finally kicked in.

Geez, the band is backbuilding now all the way to I-45, aimed towards the Beaumont area. I'm seeing that places that did not flood during Harvey are starting to flood in the Beaumont & Lumberton areas.

I live in the little point created by 59 and the Montgomery county line....which is basically even with the new line of cells if they move straight east. As long as we get a break every now and then, our street drains quickly.

That band is expanding now west of here. I may be getting more rain tonight as the WPC discussion suggested. Hopefully not flooding rains. But that band is coming together...

I was just checking up on you over there. We haven't heard from you in a couple of hours. The radar still shows very heavy rains streaming into your area right now. It appears your entire area is or soon will be experiencing widespread flash flood emergencies based upon the current radar presentation.
