Is that strong wave of low pressure, out in Mexico, still prdicted to produce more snow/sleet later this evening and into tonight? Because it seems as though the dry air is that is coming in from the northwest is drying out the air faster than what some of us thought that it would.

Which means it would dry out any precipitation right and then no rain/snow/sleet? (Sorry I am trying to learn :D )

I'm in The Woodlands. I'm watching. I'm waiting for the heavy echo just to our west to move in. That will be our change over I suspect.

Based on where the snow line is now - what is the estimated time of arrival for metro houston? Will it before or after rush-hour?

I'm worried that the precip is very gappy. I'm just not sure the change over will happen quick enough before the precip ends.

Not a full blown snow yet near Lake Conroe. My wife just called to confirm her text. It was raining then it started to sleet when she started seeing huge flakes mix in. Right now it mostly sleet with a little rain with a stray flurry from time to time.

Any reports from Montgomery? I suspect that's where the snow line is--perhaps just a tad west of there.

We are closer to Montgomery than Conroe. Sleet is starting to accumulate on our back porch according to wife.

Just spoke to a friend in Montgomery and it has been snowing large wet flakes there for about 30 minutes
