Bow echo on the storm heading into College Station - there's shear up there.
Wind and gulleywashing. Have not seen any hail yet. This is a nasty broken line heading into the Houston area.

Lost power again, it was brief. It is storming here in Stafford! Hubby made it home just before the skies opened up. I told him he has good timing, he no sooner walked in the door, than the wind and rains came!
Raining pretty good here but that's about it. Definitely seen worse.

Good afternoon. Is there any evidence of rotation in the approaching storms?

No. It's a squall line now. Straight line winds but most aren't severe level anyways.

Was short lived here in Stafford.
Hopefully nothing touched down from the tornado warning around Deer Park. Don’t exactly need stuff spread from there.
One of my Transport Drivers is offloading Nitrogen ay KMCO in Crosby.
They shut him down due to a “possible” tornado.
Pretty much over here in Pearland.

Looks like most locations across Houston got a half an inch to an inch. The line moved through fast enough that it really limited the flooding threat locally. The bullseye for heavy rain was really centered across the hill country where radar estimates up to 7 inches were reported. It looks like for the rest of the week warm conditions and sunny skies will be the primary theme. Next weekend we could see another chance of rain as a similar looking system rotates through the state.

Gusty winds are the primary threat. Looks like storms are moving quickly enough that most of the region should escape major flooding concerns. Could still see some street flooding.
