So Friday and Saturday are shaping up to be nice. You guys said Sunday/Monday another strong(er?) system rolls through?

The GFS says so, but the Euro doesn’t. Earlier on I was leaning towards the GFS solution, but not so much anymore because of the Euros persistence of saying no dice. I also happen to think that with such a strong front that just blew through way out into the Gulf, it’ll be a while before we get a return flow from the Gulf to moisten up the atmosphere enough for thunderstorm development and with the next system approaching by Sunday, I’m not so sure that’s enough time to destabilize the atmosphere. I just don’t think the next system will have enough moisture to work with, but it’s still something worth watching.
