Our skies are darkening, there is thunder and some lightening. I hope that we can get a bit of rain today. If so, it will be the third day in a row that rain has wandered into our side of the woods.

Big gaping split/hole right along the I-45 corridor.

I can't make this stuff up. Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. But at least I hear some thunder. Will it drop anything is the question...

What we are getting is no gentle rain like we got on Monday and Tuesday. Thunder, lightening, pretty heavy wind, heavy rain and it sounds like some hail, too.

Nothing here on the Waterway or at my house (per radar). Just thunder - all bark and no bite. Ugh.

At this rate, I’m gonna have to run my sprinklers again...

In other news, I got an out of state tuition waiver for my Master’s, so nothing is stopping me from moving to Tampa, other than finding a suitable job. Fortunately, I’m in talks with a few companies that specialize in my industry (which is rare), so full steam ahead.

Had some very nice rain in Stafford this afternoon. I wasn't expecting it. Had just gotten home than started to hear thunder. Still very dark clouds here. Will take what we got and the clouds keep the temps down!

Atmosphere is pretty primed down at the coast. Lots of tall dark towers firing up, and very loud thunder at times.

Are the Saharan dust occurrences related to this neutral La Nina/El Nino pattern that we're in?

HGX states that this storm is intensifying and I can attest to that. Very impressive core developing and storm clutters appear to be back building to the West. Hail to 1 inch just reported and is now severe.

I just know..it’s gonna fall apart before it gets to my house. Oh well, I’m at Jackson BBQ for the pre-game dinner. If Verlander gets his 200th, I will be happy. :)

I ended up with .40 in the gage this afternoon added to the .55 that fell Tuesday afternoon...so far. I am really pulling for our neighbors across the B/CS, Brenham, Navasota areas. Hopefully mesoscale features that the models tend to miss bring some beneficial rainfall to our Northern SE Texas folk. I know you need it. Friends in Brenham gave up on their garden for the 1st time in 14 years. Sad

We were in Houston today and hit a couple of showers in NW Harris co and Prarie View.

Nada in CLL. Maybe the showers in Waco will slide south.

You are cursed. Hopefully a move home to Florida will change your luck. We've watched you doing your darnest to keep a tropical environment alive over the years in Montgomery County. I gave up in less than 3 years upon returning to my Houston roots. We wish you and yours the best as you eventually transfer to Florida!
