Winter Weather Advisories hoisted for San Antonio and Austin and the Hill Country tonight into early tomorrow. Freezing rain and drizzle as started across portions of the Hill Country already. What a mess across the Metroplex today from the snow that wreaked havoc on the roads in N Texas. I see I-35 N from Dallas/Ft Worth has been closed into Oklahoma.

Winter Storm Warning hoisted for Central Texas. Icing from freezing drizzle/freezing rain has made travel around Austin nearly impossible. Temperatures are stuck near 30 with an inversion across the Hill Country and the Balcones Escarpment. Dallas/Ft Worth also reporting freezing rain and freezing drizzle. Not a good day to be heading N or W out of the Houston area. Heavy snow falling across much of New Mexico. Santa Fe on N to the Colorado border is almost impassable. Additionally Oklahoma on N and E is experiencing travel issues with snow and ice issues.
