Overnight tonight and Wednesday night are going to be the biggest risks for flash flooding across the region. As it stands the best chances for heavy flooding will likely be along the coastline and points west of I-45. With that said, everyone is at risk and should continue to monitor.

Why are points west of I45 at higher risk of flooding?Andrew wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 7:19 pm Overnight tonight and Wednesday night are going to be the biggest risks for flash flooding across the region. Wobble wobble to the NE now...and even heavier rainfall rates. If it were a thunderstorm I'd be afraid it was hail.
Not complaining but looks like alot of dry air out here in Orange, Tx....calm before the storm or are we outside of the worrisome areas? Are we trending to not see as much as expected?
Friendswood about to get hammered.
It’s spinning right over Sienna Plantation. Just light drizzle, storms spinning all around us tho
You will see heavy rains also. Our time for the triangle is late tonight and all day tomorrow. Im seeing plenty of models that include orange in the 10”15” range. Prob wont see core rains but we are on the “dirty side” and we will get ours more from training outer bands. Coverage will expand immensely by tomorrow.

Moving into Harris County now, right up 288.
Center looks to be 288, 518 ish.
Lots of rain and wind here in Friendswood.

Very Interesting that the center seems to almost amoeba into a new spot every so often instead a smooth movement. I noticed this earlier with it’s hard move west and I just noticed it again on the last few frames of radar.
I’m also watching to see if lightning strikes start showing up as that will be a tell tale sign of things going downhill.

Killer.
Pouring sheets of rain in Beaumont again. We just might make 6” for today. Forecasted 10-15” on top of todays amount per local met. Tonight and tomorrow rains will definitely ramp up.

Fine cutoff line up here near Lake Conroe Dam (105). As soon as a line approaches it just as quickly dissipates.
Friendswood is absolutely getting hammered.

Is all those feeders bands in lousiana suppose to make their way over here once this thing pulls out of here?
Up to 610 now. Definitely faster than expected. Crazy.
