Those CV waves are going to poof with SAL pushing westward. CMC does try to spin something up around the Bahamas with a recurve scenario possible. I just dont see it with the monster Bermuda High. We are in a lull I think for another 6 days at least.

CMC, NOGAPS, and Para GFS are suggesting a disturbance near the SW Caribbean in just under 200 hrs. This trend has continued in the para GFS for several days now. We shall see.

Interesting forecast from the 12z NAM for the end of week. So far, this is the only model winding up a system in the Gulf.
