We were supposed to be in the 70s yesterday afternoon. lol We've mostly been in the 40s and upper 30s since yesterday afternoon. The high yesterday was at midnight. Today's high was also at midnight! That would be a trend. No question about overperforming.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 4:18 pmI’ve been chilly for 24 hours. Only stepping down from here. In the 40s at the moment.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 4:16 pm So when r we suppose to start getting cold? It's 76 here
I mean why not right? Everything else since last January has been extreme.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 5:16 pmGood! We need it, because I'm afraid this Summer might suck.
The front is about Holiday Lakes - less than 5 miles away. Should be pushing through soon.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 4:32 pmNot through Angleton

Maybe it’s the same system but arriving earlier? Guess we’ll know tomorrow when Thursday is added to the 7-day forecast.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 5:50 pmRain and snow on wed??? Yeah I’m not too worried about that though. With these temps being forecasted I just don’t see that much of a difference whether you’re a bit north or south of I-10.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 5:52 pmI didnt like the fact in the post he said "north of i-10"txsnowmaker wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 5:52 pmMaybe it’s the same system but arriving earlier? Saturday. Possibly Friday if models trend stronger with the potential for ice late Saturday.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 6:31 pm When do you guys think they will start watches and warnings for the area?
I was just thinking that...after Harvey hit it snowed...then with all the hits on the tx/la border...and bam we have this...I guess something to look forward to if we get hit by hurricanes now lol
Isn’t that the truth.. 2004 was a fairly active season and we know what came after, 2017 had snow after Harvey. 2020 was the active hurricane season on record and there has already been some significant snow in College Station up into East TX. Now we are looking at possible winter storm over the course of a few days (KHOU had snow Monday and Thursday on their newscast just a bit ago)!
