Looking at video out from Dallas a lot of residents received a lot of damage and from initial pictures it does look like a tornado is very likely. Most likely dropping down and picking back up multiple times.
The system NW of Dallas looks to be weakening slightly....

From Jeff:
Two supercells have produced large destructive tornadoes across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Extensive damage has occurred across the SE side of the City of Dallas and in the corridor from Arlington to SE of DFW Airport. One of the tornadoes may have been up to ½ of a mile wide at times and on the ground for over 30 miles.
WFAA Footage from Helicopter via CNN of 18-wheelers being lofted in Lancaster, TX:

Another update from Jeff:
SPC has issued a Tornado Watch until 1000pm for the following counties in SE TX: Houston, Trinity, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Madison, Grimes, and Brazos.
Air mass over SE TX has become very unstable with cap over the northern areas weakening. Cells are beginning to develop north of HWY 105 northward into NE TX ahead of strong mid level lift along leading edge of impulse over WC TX and dryline nearing I-35. While significant tornadoes have occurred this afternoon over N TX, these tornadoes are tied closely to an east/west outflow boundary which has yielded favorable low level shear for violent tornadoes in that region. While shear values are high over the entire watch area…and tornadoes are possible…the main threat appears to be focused just north of SE TX over NC and NE TX where tornadoes are ongoing…and a few long tracked violent tornadoes are possible in this part of the watch.
Further south over the southern half of SE TX capping appears to be holding for the time being, but any storms that due develop will go quickly severe. Watching cumulus towering along the dry line west of Austin for possible initiation of additional storms.
