I think, and this is my opinion, they are seriously trying to go by the book. Making sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

My 2:11pm flight out of Chicago is now set to depart at 9:15pm. I'll be home by 1am if I'm lucky.

If they don't put out a special advisory it should be around 930 that a full package is put out.

1005mb is what they are calling it, but it looks like recon may have found lower (close to 1001mb iirc)

Maybe today has been misleading?

There is plenty of moisture with this storm. Long fetch moisture extends back into the NW Caribbean Sea and across Cuba.

Storm is still 200-300 miles away and radar is looking pretty high up.
