the best tip we ever got for flood prep was to take the interior doors off & use them to get things off the floor - for example, we layed some from counter to counter in the galley kitchen, between twin beds, across kitchen chairs, wherever we could - every little bit helps & it kept the doors from getting water damage alsosrainhoutx wrote:Update from Jeff:
Flash Flood Emergency for Harris and Fort Bend Counties.
This is a life threatening flood situation. Numerous bayous and nearing bankfull with 5-7” of rainfall in the last 2-3 hours. Widespread and deep street flooding is in progress across much of Harris County.
Avoid all travel…remain at your location.
Prepare for house flooding.
another good piece of advice was to get sleep while you still can, if you can

The end of the line jumped back to the North a bit, which may give us a bit more rain in the Pearland area.
My favorite radar but I wished it worked on my iPhone.unome wrote:it's working at DuPage also - http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/in ... X-N0Q-1-24davidiowx wrote:Appears that way. Since it's down I've been using this http://www.wunderground.com/weather-rad ... on%2c%20TX
