Temperatures are trending colder from 2 days ago for this week which may change what the models are currently showing for SE Texas

Well we are expecting lots of precip thurs and Friday here if we can get temps down enough before it gets here... IDK.. alot has to happen.

CMC has the cold air in place on the 0z run so far. Waiting to see on the moisture.

GEFS came out lighter on the 0z run.

ICON is robust. GFS is a bust.

Long range, but their is big cold building on the GFS and Euro in Canada around the 18th or so, ensembles have been really consistent with reloading our source region beyond mid month,

Overnight model runs are pretty dull about snow down here later in the week. Maybe that will change a bit as the day goes on, who knows. I did notice the insane snow total amounts in the area on the latest GFS for around the 17th with another system. Probably a ghost run but dang!

OUN keeps dropping the temps. Now the low tonight is 18 F and on Monday night they now have us getting down to 16 degrees!. I'm not used to this kind of cold lol.

LOL yeah I'm not complaining as I moved here mainly for the winter weather as crazy as that sounds.
