That HMON is absurd.. do not put any faith in that right now. It is still way to far out with a lot of uncertainties.

Looks like tropical models may be starting to converge.

18z Euro ensemble is uh, interesting. Sends Laura anywhere between here and bay of Campeche.

I see the 18Z European Ensembles shift Laura significantly West. That raises an eyebrow...

The Euro ensembles mostly point towards Texas with the average very close to Galveston/Freeport.

What a difference a day makes. I woke up assuming we'd get TD 14 as a TS, and wasn't all that worried. I assumed Laura was not even a concern for us. Now it's looking like Laura may end up being a strong hurricane and SE TX is a real possibility now.

Scary  :(

If we wind up on the dirty side of Marco and take a direct shot from Laura, its gonna be bad.

For all we know at this rate, Laura could end up in Mexico.

Damn - Marco could hit Rockport and then a stronger Laura at Freeport...with Houston on the dirty side for both.

Lots of days to go. Lots of recon days to sift through. Lots of model runs to watch. We are just in the 3rd inning of a 9 inning game
