It would be funny if CenterPoint wasn’t relying on them so much. It’s honestly a bit concerning.

This happens every time with artic air. It always starts being warmer and slower and then it turns out faster and colder. I swear someone would’ve fixed it by now.
I keep losing my usernames. Formerly vertigoss/seanatsk.

Survived Ike in Katy, Harvey in Dickinson and Allison in my car.

He shows euro and nobody is using it for temps right now, I’m a big euro guy but nws wouldn’t have put out winter storm watches on wed if they were using the euro only

I will defer to Eric and Matt for they are pro mets and I am still a student ( and learning how stupid I am the more I study), but I think we know more with the high res models that should start rolling out within the next day.

It seems like the SCW guys are always way too conservative and afraid to make a call. They play a lot of defense and not as much offense.

I have to agree with Jason and Wxman57, I think the Euro is off. Eric and Matt are buying into it. As with all pro mets, I will defer to them.

They are good with severe set ups and tropics. They are usually out to lunch on Winter Weather . They were in 2021 too until the last minute.

Eric seems to be a good guy. I can’t stand Matt, personally.

Not trying to offend anyone. Just basing it off interactions with Matt. He seems to be extremely opinionated… on a lot of subjects.

He’s clearly a smart guy, but could learn how to communicate and listen better.

Agreed.

I don't know about the tropics, the way they handled Beryl was terrible...
