He/she tried to argue with me that we could stop Arctic cold fronts with 3 mile high walls in the Plains and that would tamper down on large tornados.

I’ve heard a lot but that one was something…. I’d like to think he took a bunch of shrooms or really strong weed and decided to type what came to his head.

It’s crazy, I remember when Blake was a student at Oak Ridge from the local ‘hood, and we messaged back and forth about careers in Meteorology.

Remember Ed Mahmoud 😉?

Ed is on Anerican Weather. Posts a lot. Blake of course, is a pro met now. Fun times. The old KHOU weather board was the wild wild west back then. Man, I miss Dan. Weather wise, I am in agreement with Doc, I think straight line winds will be an issue with the front on Sunday. You will see a big tumble in temperatures when it comes through, maybe 20 degrees in some spots

I went to ORHS - maybe you and Blake were after me. 1989 here. Parents still live in oak ridge.

I remember AZ. I wonder what happened to him. Yes, those were some rough times. He obviously had some psychological problems. I didn't appreciate him or his condition then. I do now.

I look back and realize we were all a collective. Dan was still with us. We were family.

Well, I went to HS up in Plano, Plano East ‘92. But when we moved here in 2005 and the old KHOU forum started up, Blake and I discovered we lived in the same neighborhood. My oldest is a Senior at ORHS now. It’s a good school. We like how we still have a small town feel/group still despite being surrounded by all the growth.

One day away from firming things up and the models continue to trend the wrong direction. I admit, I got a little excited thinking this might be the one but reality is, we live in Southeast Texas. lol No doubt it will get cold. I’m going to stack a bunch of firewood on the front porch and enjoy a good fire.

I ate my steak yesterday. I didn't just shove my fork in it, I broke it off. We've been at this for many years. One would think wise would be on the rise. LOL
