Call me crazy but based off what we are seeing in the Euro and GFS, I absolutely think their is a legit possibility we could have an arctic outbreak that rivals February 2021 , the teleconnections are lined up, blocking is in perfect position, let the show begin folks
Can someone post the Euro?

Can you repost? I found this, but it shows higher than normal temps for SE Texas on the 20th so I must not be looking at the right model.

Are you a member on Storm2k? If not then you should consider joining. Lots of good information on there and some really smart people.txsnowmaker wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 3:24 pmCan you repost? Keep an eye on the 17th, plus or minus a day or so for the possibility of a NW Gulf low to develop for you folks. The strong cold front arriving Tuesday into Wednesday is the beginning of significant changes in the pattern across the United States. I believe there are a least one or two additional storm systems worth watching as we enter the Christmas into New Year Holiday period for Texas and locations along the Northern Gulf into my neck of the woods. Fingers crossed!

Yes, that Gulf low would make things more interesting a lot earlier than expected.

I can’t figure out why my picture won’t post.
Euro has the 30 plus below normal knocking on our door and all of the plains is 30 plus below normal.

I will try to be a little more active here and I do miss all my weather friends back home. I appreciate the fact that things are still active and the participation of so many long timers continue to make excellent contributions! You folks are awesome!MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 5:58 pmGreat to hear from you Steve!srainhoutx wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 5:53 pm Keep an eye on the 17th, plus or minus a day or so for the possibility of a NW Gulf low to develop for you folks. What would this Gulf low do for us? Give us winter weather if it were to verify and the temps are cold enough?

It would empty the Arctic to the gulf coast.
