Invest 90L has vorticity at 500 millibars and looks like warm core.

More of the thunderstorms are around the southern vorticity.

They are getting decent rains out in the Hill Country. So we have rain to the east and rain to the west and the Houston area is in the middle, high and dry.

We had a tropical downpour around 8 AM just as we were moving stuff to storage. I received more rain the past couple of days than I expected.

Sea breeze came through without anything. I was surprised by the lack of coverage today. I managed to pick up .11” yesterday and that was it. The un-irrigated lawns and common areas like medians - the grass is starting to turn brown and die off. 3 weeks of no rain with several days over 100 will do that, unfortunately.

I’m ready for fall.

We *might* have gotten a brief shower tonight per radar. Maybe 0.1 in at most. Not sure the grass can make it until Monday without going brown, even after a full dose Thursday.

Lots of scattered mess to the South. Let's hope I can squeeze a half inch in at minimum

Small cell went up west of me, and quickly rained itself out just before it got to me.

Better to have some rain then no rain.
