Feels nice having a normal winter for once. Loving the seasonal temps we've been having over the last month.

Idk. I think you can tack on about 3-4 degrees to those temps the RGEM is showing here. I don’t see it getting quite that cold. I’ve not seen any forecast for Friday morning even remotely close to those temps.

I have no problem with seasonable temps under crystal blue skies. We have freezing temps. over the next 3 nights. On the light side.
30-31° seems about right for Thursday and Friday nights per WRF. REGEM still has about 26°F. We'll see.

Oh yeah, for you it will get below freezing easily. Heck, it gets cold as balls out there where you live lolMontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 6:31 pmI’ll get below again.
I think my lettuce, cabbage and greens love it.

Advection is cranking here. I see upper 30s and low 40s near you currently - could dip below freezing there tonight.MontgomeryCoWx wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 6:31 pmI’ll get below again.

It was 36 here this morning. Probably a light freeze tonight. We’re ready.

May drain my bell housings to my sprinklers and to my outdoor kitchen and go ahead and wrap them with a towel. If it's gonna be extended periods of low 20s or colder I'll pull the bells all the way off.

El Nino is helping to chip away at the drought slowly but surely. If you believe the models and the CPC forecast the first half of January may be a wet period for us.(BTW Models show 3 storm systems moving through our area next week alone.)
