September 2023
Only chance I may have is if that sea breeze in Needville can keep pushing N and fire something off in the Richmond area. I’d consider it a minimal chance at best but I’m still dancing
At least it's 30°F cooler than yesterday. We were Shipley'd before. Props to Jason and those who saw some rain.

Cpv17 whose you’re team?
I like just about any team from Texas except for Tech and I kinda like LSU but A&M, UT, and UH are my fav 3.

The problem appears to be local. Angry/sad Ags are eating up bandwidth.

Coach Prime making some noise along with the Horns so far in their game!
Welp, what I mentioned at the top of the page happened, but a tad too late for anything worthwhile with the sun down.. Got about 30-40 drops of rain lol!

As an Ag, I disagree. I hate Bama but would prefer them to win vs the horns. I don't look forward to hearing "Texas is back" everytime I turn on a game, especially on the ESPN channels.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:05 pmAnytime Alabama looses it is a great day, especially against UT!
Absolutely! I’m one happy camper. I’d say that was the biggest win for UT since the 2005 natty.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:05 pmAnytime Alabama looses it is a great day, especially against UT!
The last time I saw Bama lose in their own house was when Manziel did it. Great memories!

Well now the SEC west is wide open for grabs, bama looked even worse than A&M did tonight lol
Bama will be fine. They just gotta get better QB play. Saban will have them refocused and ready for the rest of the season. I plan on going to the Bama game when they play A&M October 7th! Gonna cost me a very pretty penny but it should be worth it.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:29 pm Well now the SEC west is wide open for grabs, bama looked even worse than A&M did tonight lol

Cpv17 Gotta give credit to texas for going into tuscaloosa and absolutely dominating them, still that was a very sloppy game by Bama, very uncharacteristic game by Saban standards
LOL. Tonight's Bama would still manhandle tonight's Aggies.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:29 pm Well now the SEC west is wide open for grabs, bama looked even worse than A&M did tonight lol
Jalen Milroe (Bama QB) is from your hometown of Katy. Well Katy probably isn’t your hometown (seems like you’ve lived all over the map) but you get what I mean. Anyway, his senior year at Tompkins they beat Katy and that was the first district loss Katy has ever had in who knows when. Heck of an athlete and he should get better with more experience but the question is, will Bama be patient enough to let him develop? They might make a switch.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:43 pm Cpv17 Gotta give credit to texas for going into tuscaloosa and absolutely dominating them, still that was a very sloppy game by Bama, very uncharacteristic game by Saban standards

Not the day I was expecting. Sark after Dark and Jimbo back in Limbo.Ptarmigan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:58 pmJust made my day.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 10:05 pmAnytime Alabama looses it is a great day, especially against UT!![]()

Bama made some mistakes, but still formidable. I still question whether Miami is that good. Florida State and likely Clemson are significantly better.
Texas relied on experienced OL and DL that had no trouble answering the call. Milroe is talented and athletic, but can't read the field/coverage quickly yet.
After the first couple of series, Petrino and Jimbo seemed to be wrestling on playcalling. However, we can't blame the offense for the L.
Durkin hasn't been able to stop the run historically. Now add unable to stop the pass as well.
