29.57 inches Strengthening by the minute. Looks like it has good rotation and good outflow. T.S. tonight. (My opinion)

At least it actually shows a storm. The OP GFS has been garbage for a while now...
Now, about that track... Yes. A little on the funny, wtf side of things

I would call it Alex...or should be tonight.....models split in 2 camps MEX then LA...NHC is just splitting the difference right now......what will be key is the trof dropping down in the NE...look for hints in the NE NWS AFD....
also the EURO tonight should be interesting....it should have the recon data in it as well as the GFS at 10:30...

Still crazy to see such a wide difference between the op and new one. I figure the 18z HWRF/GFDL will still trend towards the NGOM and we won't get a decent run until 0z.

The HWRF definitely looks like the Euro now. The GFDL shifted westward too, though not as extreme, showing a Central LA landfall.

I have been keeping an eye on TD1 since it was a little blob and I did not even think it would form into anything....It still has to cross over the Yucatan so......
It will be interesting to see what the models do now that recon has collected data...
