Good I would prefer 70 and sunshine than miserable cold and rain anyways if it won't snow.

The 6Z gfs stills calls for wintry weather for us so does the cmc.

Why is everyone putting so much stock in the euro tho..I thought the GFS and euro were the 2 best models but it seems like everyone lives and dies by what the euro says regardless of what the gfs says also

At some point in the next few days either the euro or the gfs/cmc will have to cry uncle.

Probably because it’s been consistent ever since 12z Friday. Me personally, I thought it would’ve already caved into the GFS by now.Kingwood36 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 8:52 am Why is everyone putting so much stock in the euro tho..I thought the GFS and euro were the 2 best models but it seems like everyone lives and dies by what the euro says regardless of what the gfs says also

The forecast models have different outcomes. Proof, forecasting cold blasts is very complicated.

Well, if you want cold weather, the 12z GFS will make you smile. Wow. Has snapped back to a very cold run. Major winter storm on Saturday with highs in the 20s heading into Sunday.

Have all the models except the EURO been consistent with cold air coming in all the way to the Texas Gulf Coast?
